Hi, Were the families you are researching in Macon Co., AL definitely in Macon both "then and now?" The only names and addresses I have for either a professional researcher or Historical Society are in present-day Bullock Co. (Union Springs.) However, this area was part of Macon Co. (don't have in front of me the date Bullock was formed, but it seems like it was around 1870.) If you are interested in these addresses I'll be glad to post them.
