I use to write a woman in Shorter who was an avid genealogist. She also was Mrs. Segrest. She lived up the road from my family's original homes and cemeteries. She would write long wonderful letters and search the cemeteries and probe neighbors for info on my family. What a wonderful woman! She is probably long gone, since that was in the 1970's but her memory will always be with me. Must run in the Segrest blood.
