The following was found while reviewing the Macon Co, AL, estate case files (loose), 1836-1953 Kinder, Johnson- Lewis, I. Cook Film 2034167 Administration Bond, dated 23 Jul 1839 appointing Asa LEE as Administrator for the Estate of Green LEE. Asa LEE John M. PUGH and J. G. B. ADAMS are shown as bound to John P. COUGH, Judge of the County Court for Macon Co, AL for sum of $2,000. Bound and approved: Feb 23, 1839. Guardian Bond, dated 2 Sep 1839 appointing Asa LEE as Guardian of the Estate of William LEE, Rody LEE, Mary LEE, John LEE, The heirs of John LEE, Sr. Asa LEE John M. PUGH and Thomas M. HORRET (or HORRY) are shown as bound to G. M. JONES, Judge of the County Court for Macon Co, AL for sum of $2,000. These were in the loose papers of Guardianship of Matilda and Saphronia Elizabeth LEE, children of John H. LEE, deceased in October/November, 1858, Macon Co, AL. John H. LEE was the son of Levi D. LEE and Matilda DENNIS. Sophronia Elizabeth WALKER, wife of John H. LEE, predeceased her husband in 1852. Also, in the loose papers of the above was an Administration Bond, dated 20 July, 1882, appointing Frances LEE as Administratrix for the Estate of M. E. LEE, deceased. J. W. BRADFORD, W. C. McIVER and R. H. ABERCROMBIE are shown as bound to P. S. HOIT, Judge of the County Court for Macon Co, AL for sum of $2,000. I have info on John H. LEE, son of Levi D. LEE and Matilda DENNIS ancestors but do not have any info on Asa, Green, M. E. or Elizabeth LEE. Any info on these families would be appreciated.
