Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/QS.2ADE/474.477.480.1 Message Board Post: I'm fishing----My grandparents, Albert Gresham (1891-1926) and Florence Williams Chapell (1892-1939) were first married in 1910 in Sarasota, Fl, then they divorced in 1912, but re-married in Houston, Texas, in Dec 3, 1914. They had 2 boys, Willard and Albert Cecil, but they were raised primarily by their maternal grandparents (Willard and Sophronia Chapell). My grandfather, Albert, was a lineman for the telephone company and on the road a lot. He is my brick wall. I have found him living his mother, Mary, (a widow) in Sarasota, Fl, 1910. I beleive he had an older sister, Mary, who married a man who had a fishing camp in Apoka, Fl. Albert died in Los Angles, Ca, and Florence died in Miami, Fl. My Dad always thought his father was from Alabama, but the census indicates he was born in Fl, and both parents in Ga. If you can relate to this family, I would love to hear from you. Thank you.
