Searching for the descendants of Amanda Mattox who was married to my grgrand uncle, Andy Wilson. Amanda's death certificate (d. 11/6/1928) in Ft. Davis, stated that her parents were Cowles and Mary Mattox. The informant was Lillie Henderson. On the 1870 Macon County, AL census within the Cotton Valley precinct, I found the Mattox family --Kyles 45 and Mary 40 with their children -- Ramsey 22, Fanny 16, Andy 15, Isaiah 13, Amanda 10 , Julia 9, Lou 7 and Easter 17. Would appreciate any leads on this family.
