Alabama did not start keeping birth records until after 1910; there might be a baptismal record somewhere if she belonged to a church which baptized children as infants, i.e., Episcopal, but there will not be any record at the state level. Records from the Alabama Dept. of Vital Statistics are relatively expensive - $12 per search last time I requested anything from them - and it's so unlikely that a record for 1853 would be located that it's not worth the money.
