I think it may have been in the area of Bradford's Chapel church, but I'm not sure. My grandmother was a Carr and grew up in that area. I have one of her sister's report cards from about 1908 or so, and it has "Carr School" on it. William, who are some of your Carr ancestors? I have quite a bit of information on the Carrs from that area, and would be pleased to share/exchange information. Doug
Doug, I see my brother has asked a question on Carr's school house. As I understand Carr's school house sat on the land of a Samuel Carr along the east prong of Line Creek. I believe that this Samuel Carr was married to an Elizabeth Parker. They had at least two children John Daniel Carr (b.1825)and Celina or Selina Carr. John Daniel was married to a Sarah Ann Bell. They had at least one son William Samuel and two girls Martha and A.E. before John Daniel died at age 29. Sarah went on to marry again to J. Cooper. Our great grandfather William Samuel had at least 16 children by three wives two of which were Oswalt sisters and the third was a Zerma or Zenner? We know one of his children Ola, lived in the area until her death and is buried along side Ebenezer Church which John Daniel helped establish. Any information you have would be helpful.
