In the meantime, could you check the book's bibliography and see where William Martin found the church records? Are they at the Alabama Baptist Archives at Sanford University, or are they still held by the church? Tom, The introduction only mentions that the new Cubahatchee Baptist Church does have records at Samford, but it does not say where the original records that Mr. Martin transcribed are held. I did locate this book by means of a search engine on the internet and you may find more information on line but there is no e-mail address listed in this book.
