Pat, this Mason Harwell is of some interest to me. I am not related to this man, but he may have some kind of ties to people to whom I am related, if not through a family connection, then perhaps business or neighborhood. In particular, I am interested in Littleton T.P. Harwell, of Morgan Co., GA. His sister (belived), Mary B., married first a Robert JONES and later a Elam FITZPATRICK. The Elam Fitzpatricks lived in Macon Co., AL. It is believed that Robert Jones was from NC... The Fitzpatricks originated in VA, then verioius of them went to GA, then to several AL counties. No GRAVES or HOWARD have shown up in my research. But, let me know if any of these surnames show up in your research and I can write to you privately to give you some inking of how some of these names match-up.... PARHAM, BRANCH, LEWIS, HARPER, FITTS, JONES, SPEED, FITZPATRICK, DRYER, DRISKILL, WALTON, GREEN. ...kind of a stretch, I know; but, all of these surnames have turned up in my research, in AL, GA, and NC. and they are connected, in one way or another.
