I am looking for a John Clark(e) Tomlin. My ggrandparents, John Clark(e) Tomlin and Roxie Catherine Jackson were married in MontgomeryCounty in 1879 and were censused there in 1880. My grandfather, Roy Laitten Tomlin, was born in 1881 and his father died when he was a small boy. Roxie remarried in the home of her father Isaac Jackson in Macon County in 1888. Therefore I am not sure if John died in Montgomery or Macon County. Her father was a plantation overseer and he was also in Montgomery County in 1880 I have a feeling John Tomlin worked for him, Isaac and his brood all came to Texas about 1890. His wife, Missouri died before coming to Texas so she might also be buried in either Montgomery or Macon County. Appreciate any help if you find anything.
