I would imagine you would have to contact a coin or money collector to get the value of the money. A coin dealer will pretty much give you only the face value of the money.Not much more. Probably search on the internet would help you find people who would be interested. There has been nothing of any genealogical or Macon County subject matter on this list in any of my digests for over 3 days. And these tips carry the email address of the list administrator, to boot. If I wanted general tips on how to use or maintain a PC, then I would buy one and certainly would not expect those tips to come from a genealogy mailing list.
