Also, albeit a long shot, would you please check to see if any memeber of the Blount/Blunt family is included in the book. Britton Blount and Sarah Blount, d. 1857 and 1864, respectively, are my ggg-grandparents. The married names of their daughters, c. 1865, are Caldwell, Foster, Jones, Beauchamp, Deloach. They owned land in the northern part of the county at the site of old Ft. Decatur (Milstead area) and another near Mt. Zion Church, about 6 miles SW of Notasulga. Most of their family appear to have left Macon County by 1880, but I'd sure like to know if any are buried in marked graves. Thank you, Ron Blake http://groups.yahoo.com/group/BrittonBlount/

    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/QS.2ADE/883 Message Board Post: Elizabeth Fluellen. From the information that I have. She married George W. Segrest 21 May 1846, Macon County, Alabama. She had at least one child, Zebulon Randolph Segrest (my GGrandfather) born about 1847. I have her married to Alpheus S. Chapman on 22 December 1859. A. S. Chapman was killed during the Civil War. The 1860 Federal Census she was living next door to her then mother-in-law, Mary Clough Chapman. In the 1880 Federal Census she was still living next door to Mary Chapman, who then was living with her son, Dr. James A. Chapman. According to a newspaper article in the Lakeland Ledger and Star Telegram, Lakeland Florida, she married Dr. Chapman and they were living in Polk County, Florida. She died 29 September 1911 and is buried in the Griffin (Galloway) Cemetery, Polk County, Florida. I would appreciate any information anyone can share with me. Thank you for your help.
