Wynnette Tucker Welch wrote: Good morning all, The Crenshaw County, Alabama Heritage Book Committee encourages all of you with ancestors in Crenshaw County to write your family history and encourage your friends to do the same. There is still time to get these histories in the forthcoming Crenshaw County Heritage Book. Wouldn't your descendants enjoy reading about these pioneers who helped make Crenshaw County what it is today? Where they came from, how they made a living, who & when they were married, who their children were, there are many stories to be told about the early days of Crenshaw County when it was a wild and dangerous place to live. Please help make this book a success. We also would like to encourage you to buy a book which will be cheaper now, before it goes to the publishing house. For further information get in touch with Jimmy Gipson at: 2319 Lee Street, Rutledge AL 36071 or call: 334-335-6937 We sure would appreciate your participation in the completion of this book.
