I was referring to Monroe Co., MS where young William Davis of Lowndes Co., AL made his last (and only?) will. I am guessing that he was there getting ready to do battle with the Aggressors from the North - possibly in an Alabama unit of the Army of Tennessee. In the CW, on average, the odds were about 1 in 4 of dying in battle (both sides). Adrian
