The Francis Marion Davis you refer to was of the family of John (T) Davis who moved from Lowndes Co to AR abt 1859/60. The children of Hardy Royal and Nancy Davis do not have the same initials as the ones you list. They were in 1860 Lowndes census. The dtr of William and Unity Royal was Mary Frances a girl.
