All I have are transcriptions for the white residents of Lowndes County. If your ancestors were African-American, then I cannot help. I the marriage records is: William T. McFerrin who married E. E. Bruner on oct. 4, 1872, married by John A. Waller, MG, bond co-signed by A. V. Stabler, in marriage Book A, page 350. I checked the 1880 Census (remember I only have whites) and did not find them. William T. McFerrin was born December 17, 1853, son of John R. McFerrin and his wife, Sarah E. Couey. William died October 2, 1886 and is buried in the Hopewell Cemetery, Palmyra, Lowndes County, as are his parents. I did not find William's wife. I have no information on E. E. Bruner. I looked to see if there was a second marriage for her in Lowndes but did not find one.
