Clara Perdue's husband was Alexander Bolling Perdue, who died around 1841.(don't have my notes in front of me). Clara had 5 children, the oldest being John Arthur Rice Perdue. Clara was a Watson before marraige, and her father was Arthur Rice Watson. There is a copy of the will John A.R. Perdue on the AlGenWeb. It was written before he left to serve in the Civil War. Apparently, he was later killed. I'm not sure what infantry. Robert Howell
