Gholson was issued certificate#18097 for the North East quarter of the South West quarter, and the South East quarter of the North West quarter, of Section Twenty-two, in Township Thirteen,of Range Fourteen, in the District of Lands, subject to sale at Cahaba, Alabama,containing seventy-nine acres, and thirty-three hundredths of an acre accordingto the official plat of the survey of the said lands, returned to the General Land Office by the Surveyor General.
