They lived in the part of Butler Co. [near Lowndes Co.] that later became a part of Crenshaw Co. They are buried in the Saville Cemetery in NW Crenshaw Co. Do you know if your Susan and Bertha Jane Mitchell were related to Peter Mitchell? Who is this Bird, found in the Crenshaw Co. Obit book? Mr. Erie P. Bird... 84 years of age, died last week near Highland Home, in this county. (Rutledge Wave-June 14 1893) No children or wife was given.
