I am trying to find the parents of Jacob Champion who lived in the Lowndes Co. area that later became Crenshaw Co. He married Martha L. Bird in 1833. I think that his parents were Robert Champion and Nancy Agnes Cauthen, but so far have been unable to find the names of their children. Any help will be appreciated.
