Edward married 1st about 1847 to Frances A. Swanson born March 20, 1826; died September 20, 1867 and is buried at Hayneville Cemetery, Hayneville Lowndes County Alabama. Frances was the daughter of Elizabeth Muse and Colonel William Swanson. Children of Edward and Frances are 1st) Dr. John Albert Pritchett was born June 19, 1849 in Lowndes County Alabama; died January 14, 1897 in Hayneville, Lowndes County Alabama. John married February 3, 1885 in Lowndes County Alabama to Bette B. Cook. 2nd) Frances S. Pritchett born August 31, 1860; died February 9, 1909 and buried in Rogers Cemetery Letohatchie, Lowndes County Alabama. Frances married January 12, 1881 in Lowndes County Alabama to Charles Platte Rogers, Jr. 3rd) Lucy Belle Pritchett. 4th) Nell Pritchett was born about 1867 in Lowndes County Alabama. Nell married April 18, 1900 in Lowndes County Alabama to Elias Perry Thomas. Edward married 2nd about 1868 to Elizabeth Swanson and they had one child: Edward Hill Pritchett born January 11, 1870 in Lowndes County Alabama; died February 14, 1908 in Hayneville, Lowndes County Alabama.
