King who married Mary Sutley. When I saw these postings, I certainly have to wonder if this is the same one. My Thomas M. King used his middle initial in every record that I've found, to distinguish himself (i am sure) from another Thomas King who was living in the same area in GA when he was young. They married within a couple of years of each other, and later I believe they both came to S. AL. I know that my Thomas M. King continued to use his middle initial in all documents that I've found. I descend from one of his daughters, Mary Ann King, who married and settled in Coffee County, then later in Covington Co. AL after the death of her first husbvand. She and her second husband may have lived in FL for a time, but she died in Covington Co. in her old age, living with a daughter's family. Would like to correspond regarding the information you & I may have.

Can anyone fill in the blanks for me about this family while they lived in and around Dallas County? I am descended from Rebecca Blalock, the daughter of Charles and Sarah Brazier Blalock, listed in generation 3.How did Rebecca settle in Alabama? Was she born in NC or AL or TX? Where did her mother, Sarah Brazier, die? Did any of Sarah's siblings live in Alabama? I guess Richard Blalock and his descendants were her cousins. Do I have this lineage correct? I merged my information with another GedCom for Richard Blalock and Sarah Wade so I could include the cousins and now things don't seem to be as they were. Thanks so much for your help! Sims, died at the house of Mr. Benjamin Tarver, Lowndes Co., Al, December 8th, 1847. He was the son of Waller and Mary Sims, born in N. Carolina, Abbeville District, November 1, 1819, removed to Alabama with his parents in 1832.....A. S. Dickinson." The "N" in N. Carolina is underlined, obviously intending to note that it should have been S. Carolina instead of N. Carolina, because N. Carolina does not have an Abbeville District. 1837-1860, edited by Brent Holcomb. I have two questions that Id like to throw out to the list. 1) Is there anyone that can find a copy of the death record there in Lowndes County? I would be more than happy to pay someone for their time, trouble and expense. 2) Does anyone have access to a grooms index of marriage that could check to see if William married before he died at age 28? Thank you all for any help that you might be able to provide.
