Browning a resident of Lowndes from the early 1800's to the mid-50s. He married two Zuber sister's and then my grandmother Julia Moore. Family lore has it that Joseph was killed by highwaymen. Julia then married John D. Addison and they migrated to Louisiana. Have you run across any information about his family. Also how do I access this information from the Lowndes County Archives. Thanks so much for your help. Patty Williams Childress

    1. [ALLOWNDE] Re: Hrabrowski
    2. Carolyn, thanks for posting all of that information. I will have to take time to digest it all. As I search I have seen the names Hrobowski spelled many ways. Some of my relatives have spell them both ways. When I do a search I have seen the same person with the name spelled Hro and Hra. I will look in the archive and take a look at the wills. Thank you so much for this information. I'm sure that there make be a connection some where. I have gotten back into the 1800 yet but I'm almost there. I have Rives Hrobowski Death Cert. and it has his father and mother as Tom Hrobowski and Lythia Oliver. What is so confusing to me is that there are serveral Tom Hrobowski's. I did found Tom and Rives in the 1900 and 1910 Census. Fran

I will transcribe them and place them in the ALGenWeb Archives at: www.rootsweb.com/~usgenweb/al/lowndes.htm My guess is that Thomas and Harriet R. Hrabrowski were the parents of John and Lemuel.
