    1. [ALLMACHER] ALLMACHER worldwide
    2. Dear Allmacher researchers, in an attempt to coordinate ALLMACHER research worldwide I have set up a web page http://www.seelentags.de/allmacher/ which is still in its early stages. So far there is 1. an invitation to join our mailing list to discuss your questions on Allmacher research worldwide; 2. a list of mentions in American sources (ship lists, census data, ...) - many of which are not yet linked to each other, but still need further research. Should you have any connection to any of these mentions, please, let me know. Should you have any further mentions (prior to 1900) not yet listed, please, let me know as well. All Allmacher individuals I have been able to connect so far (mostly in Germany), are descendants of Jacob von Allenbach (*no* nobility - just indicating that he came from the village of Allenbach), showing up in the Trarbach area (Moselle, Germany) in mid-16th century. I have extracted all Allmacher entries in the Trarbach church records until early 19th century - so once your line has been traced to Trarbach and to this time, I can send you the remainder of your family tree to the 16th century. I hope you hear from you - Wolf
