Hi Everyone: I am the newest member signed up by Dr. Wolf Seelentag. My name is Donna Murray and I am the granddaughter of Paul Henry Allmacher. I am very excited to be able to speak to you via e-mail. My husband and I are planning a trip to Germany in September and we are very excited to be able to plant our feet on our forefather's homeland. We are interested in staying a few days in the Mozel area and I was wondering if anyone has heard of a place called House Brandenburg #065425010. It was recommended on the internet and we were thinking of staying there. Could someone check this for me? I would appreciate it. We will be traveling with our dear friends Peggy and Tom Furnari. If someone could write back with places that they think is worthwhile for us to see and visit, we would also appreciate the information. I would love to meet with any Allmacher and buy them a drink, lunch or dinner. I don't want to inconvenience anyone and I realize that time is valued, but I would love to come home and say I meet some of my relatives. My brother's son, Aaron, will be studying for a year in Friedberg, and is very excited to be spending his school year studying in Germany. We plan on visiting him while we are there. Our plans are tentatively to spend 4 days in the Mozel area, 4 days in the Black Forest and 4 days in Munich. We are renting a car, but we were wondering if it will be easy to drive over in Germany. Does anyone think we should do a train instead? We also thought we should look into renting homes via the internet as opposed to hotels. Any thoughts? I would appreciate any helpful hints and ideas and I am so very excited about visiting Germany. We will be in Germany Sept 24th through October 8th. I would love to hear from my distant cousins.
