As others on the list might also be confused about my e-mail addresses (I have about 20 for different purposes) I'm responding to the list - I hope you don't mind. Yes - [email protected] is still a valid address: my work address (kssg stands for Kantons-Spital St.Gallen). If you have mailed there during the last three weeks, the mail should still sit in my inbox: I have been on holiday and returned only Friday late night. I had used this address also for private mails until end of Dec 2001 as I didn't have private internet access until then. Nowadays I would prefer to receive private mails at home: [email protected] which will end up directly in my inbox. An alternative would be [email protected] (additional S after seelentag!) which I'm using on many web pages: it's just forwarding to my swissonline address, which normally should not delay things. The advantage of this address is that I will keep it "forever" (whatever that means with the internet), whilst the swissonline address will be invalid should I change provider (and there are a few things I don't like with swissonline). I had received a mail from Donna late July about her trip to Germany, and have responded to that (hope it got through - at least it didn't bounce). There is still a long mail from Sharon (mid August) waiting for a response. I apologize for the delay; I had a busy time at the hospital for several months, plus time spent to prepare the re-organisation of my professional society (http://www.sgsmp.ch) of which I am the president at the moment, plus all sorts of organisational issues in connection with our daughter Laura's "emigration" to Scottland. Which brings me back to our holiday. Laura has taken up her M.Sc. Course "Information Management" at the Queen Margaret University College in Edinburgh a couple of weeks ago. We "gave her a lift" with her belongings, and have combined that with a holiday, touring a part of Scottland we had not explored before: I am planning to put a few photographs online, once the films are developed (and I find the time to do that). Laura seems to have settled in and feel quite comfortable: we had visited her another day on the way back, as the ferry was departing from Edinburgh again. We have been very lucky with the weather - only about 2 hours of rain in over 2 weeks, and much more sunshine than our son Roland had back at home (house and dog sitting, plus learning for the upcoming exams in a week's time). For the time being I send you and all others on the list my best regards - Wolf PS on organisational matters: 1. I have corrected Denton's address to [email protected] and hope he gets our mails again now. 2. I'm still at a loss with [email protected] [email protected] Both have been bouncing for a while now, and I can't find amongst my notes, whom they belonged to.
