My name is Sharon Lantz, granddaughter of Paul Henry Allmacher, son of Heinrich Allmacher who emigrated to Ameerica. I was born in 1936, so you guessed it I am retired after 38 1/2 years as a civil servant with the State of Michgan. I started out my career as a clerk tpist and ended it as the Secretary/Administrative Assistant to the Chief Justice, Michigan Tax Tribunal. My husband, Lyle Lantz, was an electrician, starting out in the wiring of homes, etc., progressed to maintenance of elevators and escalators for Otis Elevator Co. and wound up his career building and wiring control panels for Consumers Power Company substations. Since 1993, right after retiring, we winter in the Rio Grande Valley in South Texas, US. Lyle's family emigrated to the US from the Palatine area of Germany.
