Allison of Jackson Co., AL was the son of John Allison who was the son of Old William and Lucy ___Allison of Wilkes Co., NC. The William Allison born 1796 and wife Catherine ____who died in Dade Co., GA in the early 1850's were my ggg-grandparents. I feel sure that my William is the son of William who was the son of Old William and Lucy. We haven't been able to find much information on William, son of Old William and Lucy. I appreciate everything and would welcome any information about the above William Allisons.
