Allison b. 1860 in Smith county, Tx., Father was Edwin Thomas H. Allison and Zeleame Logan/Logun. This is the line of the search for Hugh Hope Allison, E. T. H.'s father and Nancy Becton. Hugh was b. 1791-4 in Rutherford county, TN. He is listed in census there and on marriage license as Hugh Ellison in 1820. My email has changed, chapmanjs@cox. Zeleame, George's mother, was the daughter of T. Y. Logan of Edgefield, SC. He is found in Freestone,county in 1880 and listed as a confederate veteran.
