The paternal ancestry charts of participants in the Allison/Ellison DNA Project are at this URL: http://freepages.family.rootsweb.com/~allisonellisondna/index.htm When you click on Participant 7410 in Group C, you will see that he descends from David S. Allison, b. 1813-1815, TN; d. 1894, Senath, MO; m. 1840, Hardin Co. TN, Elizabeth Nance Is this the line that you're researching? We have our website available on the web to help all Allison/Ellison researchers find others who are researching the same Allison/Ellison line. The more participants who join the DNA Project, the more information there will be available and the easier it will be for all of us to find our long-lost cousins. If you know how to contact a male relative WITH the ALLISON surname (even a distant cousin with the Allison surname) who descends from this Allison line, he would be a very welcome new participant in the Allison/Ellison DNA Project. If his DNA score would match the other Allison/Ellison men in Group B, we would have genetic proof that your line descended from John Allison/Ellison of Windyedge Farm in Scotland. If you want more info about how an Allison male can join, cost of the DNA tests, etc. I'll be glad to share that info with you. I am the co-ordinator of the Allison/Ellison DNA Project. All the best, Mary Allison Yonan yonan@fgi.net ----- Original
