Carol, There are dozens of direct descendants of SHEM ALLISON and JULIA BRANNON who are members of the National Allison-Allanson Family Association. In fact, many of them were at the recent National Allison Family Reunion just last month in Brevard, NC -- a short distance from where Shem lived. One of Shem's sons was at the family reunion, and dozens of his grandsons! Would be more than happy to communicate with you on your family history! And we'd be delighted to welcome you as a member of your family's huge 690 member organization -- the National Allison-Allanson Family Association. In addition to the national level reunion, our other major project is a quarterly magazine, "The Allison Family Voice" which is loaded with family history, plus the present moment in time.
