Joe, According to family history, five sons of Thomas Allison, Jr. and Elizabeth Rebecca Norris Allison served (and survived) NC in the Civil War: Ephraim, Williamson, Isaac, Norris, and Richard. I am fairly sure the Isaac, Norris, and Richard you list here are the same as the sons of Thomas, Jr. Ephraim, my ancestor, served in the 65th Regiment, NC State Troops, as a private, and I have been told that Williamson served in this same regiment with Ephraim.
