There are now over 70 participants and you may find that a current participant's DNA score will match the DNA score of a male ALLISON relative of yours. When a match occurs on the 25 or 37 marker tests, you have good evidence that the two men share a common ancestor and they can share genealogical research and both learn more about their Allison origins. The Allison/Ellison DNA project was designed to help us break down some of those "brick walls" and discover some new cousins with whom we can share genealogical research.
