    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: Allison, Clark Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/hZ.2ADIB/1800 Message Board Post: I'm looking for death info on James Shelton Allison born 13 July 1825 White Co, TN to Joseph Allison 1799 NC and Asenth Stone 1802 Ky. Also death info for his wife Rachel E. Clark Allison born 04 Sep 1831 TN to Luther and Susan Whitefiled Clark The birth date may be wrong on Rachel, may be 1832. Rachel Allison may have died in Kansas. James Shelton Allison may have died in Kansas. I found them in Kansas in 1880 and have seen some family trees on them but nothing listed as a death date. I could only find one of their Children after 1880, he was also in Kansas. I come from the Luther Clark line. I appreciate any help I can get. Thanks, Jenevia in California

    3. James Shelton Allison born 13 July 1825 White Co, TN, is a brother to my g-g-g-grandfather, William Herbert Allison. William Herbert, born 04 Nov 1823, White Co., TN married Elizabeth "Peggy" Clark 23 Aug 1844, White Co., TN (Elizabeth "Peggy" Clark is a sister to Rachel E. Clark, James Shelton's wife). I have the book "Allison Connections" by Della Pat Franklin, 1988. William Herbert & James Shelton are the sons of Joseph "Mine Lick Joe" Allison & Cynthia Stone; Elizabeth "Peggy" & Rachel E. are the daughters of Luther Clark & Susan Whitefield. According to the Allison Connections, Joseph "Mine Lick Joe" Allison & Cynthia Stone had at least 11 children and that Cynthia died before 1860 & Joseph married 2nd, Elvira Eldridge & they had 3 children. According to the Allison Connections - James Shelton Allison married Rachel E. Clark 30 Jul 1846, White Co., TN; they had 2 children, Joseph b. ca. 1849 & Luther b. early 1850 - nothing known of him after 1850 census.
