The oldest son was Joseph Allison born 1848/1849 in TN. His parents, James and Rachael Allison moved to Hamilton Co, IL in abt. 1864. James and Rachael are on the 1870 census for Hamilton Co, Il but the oldest sons are missing, Joseph 1848/1849 TN, Luther 1850 TN, Isaac 1854 TN. James father, Joseph Mine Lick Allison was born 01 Dec 1799 in Orange Co, NC and his wife Asenath Stone was born 06 Jan 1802 KY.
