Carter Austin was the son of Daniel Allison of Talledega, AL.. Carter Austin was married to Margaret Emma Shelley in Talledega, AL. We visited Tim on one of our trips to Alabama a few years ago. The Craven connection was due to researchers mistakenly identifying Jacob D. Shelley and Mary Craven as Margaret Shelley's parents instead of Jacob's brother Charles. Thnks Lem
