He was my grandfather, on 3 different census's he goes by different names, Howard, Harold and Earl H. , my mother knew him and he died as Harold Edmond Allison. I would like to find any information on Edith and if they had any children while married because if so then my mother has half brothers and or sisters she never knew about. On the 1930 Washington, Lucas, Ohio census they are living with his mother Jennie Allison. Edith was born Abt. 1907 in Ohio My mother found a mention of a marriage 16 Jun 1928 in Milan, Michigan. One of Maggie's children (Belle Perkins b 1868) lists her mother as Magaret Kimbell. Maggie's sister Emma married George Kimble.

He died June 24,1839 and I am fairly sure that he is buried in Greenmount Cemetery in Waynesburg, Penn. He was married to Mary CRAWFORD b. 1810 d. 1868 in Indiana. Mary moved to Indiana with her brothers, Josiah and John CRAWFORD after the death of her husband. John and Mary had two children, Robert Burns ALLISON and Jane ALLISON.

According to the 1860 census of Mercer Co., PA, your James Allison was born in Pennsylvania. He and family were listed in Clarksville township that year. James Allison bc1794 KY, married Naomi Hardwick 1820. Anna Allison born Nov 1798 KY, died 4 Jan 1863 Lucas Co., IA, married Douglas Allen 9 Dec 1819 Montg. Co., KY. John Allison bc1792 Eleanor Allison bc1802 Elizabeth Allison bc1805 Andrew Allison born 10-6-1806, married Elizabeth Hedges 18 Dec 1828 Bourbon Co., KY. Maria Allison bc1808 Nancy Allison bc1798 (same as Anna above??). John Allison born 12-7-1759 Rowan Co., NC, died 5-22-1830 in NC. He was in the Rev. War. He went to KY c1797, then to Bath Co., KY. John was born 1759 in Rowan Co., NC., son of John and Elizabeth (Bowen) Allison. Ruth (Ralston) Allison was born in 1767. I have no more info on her. I well share information with you. James Allison was born abt. 1794 in Bedofrd Co, Virginia and died aft. 1850 in Wisconsin. He married Naomi Hardwick Aug. 3, 1820 in Montgomery Co., Kentucky. She is the daughter of John Hardwick and wife Johanna Hall. Naomi was born abt 1798 in Kentucky and died aft. 1880 in Wisconsin. Their known-to-me children are Elizabeth (My 3rd Gr. Grandmother), James A. and Maria M. . This is all I kinow of the couple. The Richard and Samuel Allison listed in the 1850 census in Wisconsin may or may not be related. Mary J.
