Tryuing to find out my ggrandfather's parents names. Robert Irvin Long was born in 1853 in Texas. His father was from Tennessee and his mother from Alabama. Any Longs migrate to Texas from Alabama, and why would they? Right now I'm hunting for living relatives to talk to and looking for the names that were handed down. Any help greatly appreciated.
