ATKINS on08 Dec. 1839, mar. (2) William COOLEY in 1851. THOMSON: I am descended from Lilian Elizabeth PHILLIPS, d/o Col. Thomas PHILLIPS and 1st wife "Miss Murrah". Lilian "Elizabeth" was the wife of Robert Biscoe/Briscoe THOMSON, b. o8 Feb 1808 Madison Co., AL, d. ca. 1839-42 MO. It is said that Robert B. was the s/o Rev. David THOMSON and Winifred Jones ELDRIDGE, but I do not have proof (only that the will of Rev. David THOMSON mentions his son Robert B. THOMSON). If anyone has ANY information on this line, PLEASE le me know. I have been looking for proof of Robert's father for 18 years. MURRAH/ MURRAY I found a source which states that my "Miss MURRAH" was the sister of Amos Bird MURRAH and Cas MURRAH. I know that Amos Bird MURRAH was in Limestone Co., AL at that time.
