The father of Frank Pledge was Isham Vest born about 1766, Stokes co NC. died 1814 Forsyth NC.burial:Tobaccoville NC. married Nancy Pledge. Isham was 5th child of William Tunwell Vest b-1732 Va. married Lucretia Lucy Alford b- 1737-married abt. 1754 in Bedford co. Va.
