Check Broadfoot's Compiled Confederate Records, if your library has the set. If not, NARA will have his record since he was killed in battle. One of my MS ancestors had a death date in the Bible that coincided with Battle of Shiloh but I could not find his record in MS archives. Went to Shiloh archives & check their pay records, found a man by his name & wrote down the company etc. Ordered it from NARA & got it back real quick. Good luck with your search.
