No, I did not know that William Cheatham went to Lamar Co. TX in 1846 with the Biards and Stephensons. This would be William Jr. (b. 1800) by William Sr.'s (b.c. 1770) first wife Charlotte Wheeler in NC. William Jr. -m- Zeravina Aiken, they are both buried in Antioch Cemetery in Lamar Co. along with many other Cheathams, (including Aquilla ( William's half brother) and his wife, Rebecca Jane Tucker., Biards, and Stephensons. Was there a family connection? Were they intermarried? Aquilla and Rebecca Cheatham were my husband's g grandparents.
