Hi Marta, I have McKinneys in Limestone Co., AL too. I don't know of an Alexander put we are probably connected in some way. I have the following: Daniel McKinney b 1730-1750 Culpeper, VA m Sarah Weathers b 1747. Their son was James McKinney b 1777 m Delila Caldwell. Children were: Reed (my ancestor), John, James, Celia, William, Reuben, Roland, Nancy and Polly. I would be happy to share. Thanks.
