This land is now in Noxubee County Mississippi. 1840 census shows Alexander Whitehead in Winston County Mississippi next to Joshua Whitehead. I believe this Alex is the brother of Joshua who may have sold his land, visited Joshua then returned to Lauderdale Co. Al. Maybe curiosity goes many ways ! !
