Posted on: Limestone County Queries Reply Here: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Al/Limestone/434 Surname: MILLER, GARRETT, HUDSPETH ------------------------- Seeking possible parentage of several Millers found in early Limestone CO. AL records that are probably siblings--Ruth Miller m. Charles Garrett and William Hudspeth Miller m. Matilda Morgan. Both of these families were in Yell Co. AR. prior to 1850, and members of both families came to Llano-Burnet Co. TX, Colorado River area, in the early 1850's where they remained. According to later pensions filed, William Hudspeth Miller lived across the state line in Giles Co. TN area as late as 1830 where son William Carter Miller was born. I have also found evidence of a man named CARTER HUDSPETH in early AL records, which I feel sure will tie into the family somewhere. Both the Garretts and Millers seem to have earlier connections to N.C. prior to coming to AL, then to AR/TX. Karylon A. Russell, Box 823, Llano, TX 78643 [email protected]
