Charles married Ruth MILLER in this county. Isaac also m. Elizabeth Pederson, assumed to be a daughter of local minister, John, but it is believed this was his second marriage as it is believed he had a son named Merrill Simpson froma previous marriage. Isaac and Merrill Simpson are found living in the home of Charles and Ruth Garrett in Yell Co. AR in 1850. Charles and Ruth are still in Yell CO. 1860--no sign of Isaac, but Merrill Simpson has already gone to Texas and is found in Llano CO. TX in 1860, where he resides until his death.
