Carol Morrisson suggested this approach when I asked if any meetings were ever scheduled in the chat room. Apparently there are none, but we can schedule our own if we like. Being from Mooresville, I'm interested in everybody connected to Mooresville -- plus a great deal of Athens and Huntsville and the farms in the middle. If the chat develops any interest, a logical time might be Monday nights at seven or eight, whichever comes just before the Huntsville chat on the Madison County board. I'll make it a point to be in the Limestone chat room this coming Monday night. If at least a few others show up, maybe we can settle on that time -- or find a better one. Please contact me by e-mail if you're interested, but can't be there Monday night. Al Hill [email protected]

James Green Campbell is my gggrandfather, and he married Emily Johnson in 1857. I found that Green lived in Lawrence in 1850, but was born somewhere else in Alabama (1828 by census record). I am searching neighboring counties to see if someone knows my Green. If so, can provide some background on the line that moved to Texas.

She had siblings, John Bowen III (died 1790 Wilkes Co, GA), Moses Bowen died probably during the Revolution, William Bowen, (1768 VA - 1828 TN). I'm seeking contact with descdendants of Elizabeth in the hope someone may have knowledge of the children of her brother, William Bowen, who married Elizabeth Smith 1795 in Botetourt Co, VA. Later records put him in Rutherford Co, TN. I need to prove the children of William and Elizabeth. He was nearly 30 when they were married, and I believe he may have had one or two children by a previous wife.

    3. I would like to thank all of you for helping me with the Oak grove Cemetery Location. I had an idea where it was but was not sure. My grandmother was buried in Evans cemetery last year. I just recently found out about the Oak Grove Cemetery and wanted to be sure before I went venturing out to it. Thanks again to a great group of people. Rhea Emerson Moore
