    3. My Sylvester Brown Stephenson married Mary Holt in Limestone County,AL. in 1857 at Shoal Ford. Several years ago a Holt relative sent me the funeral notice for Sylvester Brown Stephenson who died in Waxahachie,TX.,Ellis County in 1908. On the back of the funeral notice were written the words, "had kinfolks in Waxahachie by the name of Brown and Fogg.Aunt Mary Steveson was a Holt before she married. Was you Granda papa Holts Sister. Mary Holt was the daughter of Edmund and Nancy Holt of Giles County,TN. Sylvester Brown Stephenson was the son of Samuel Stephenson who was in Giles before 1820. By 1822,Samuel Stephenson was living in Limestone where his son George Alexander Stephenson was born.

There is a FOGG Cemetery South of Pulaski, I was in it last week. You might look up Dr. Stacy Garner, a dentist in Pulaski, he is one of the people in charge or it. He was in the 1850 Limestome census but I couldn't find anything else on him. His daughter, Nancy Jane is my great grandmother. She got married in Indiana in 1864 and in 1870, she has a sister, Sarah living with them in Indiana. I would like to know what happened to Thomas and his wife Elizabeth, she was not in that census. I also would like to know just what brought Nancy and her husband together when he lives 300+ miles to the north. Appreciate anything I can get on this family.

    3. Dick, Thanks for the response. The main one is Robert B. THOMSON married Lilian "Elizabeth" PHILLIPS on 01 Dec 1831. (At least we think that is the correct date, it was taken from a Family Bible.) The other three are : Mary Jane PHILLIPS to Lemuel HENDERSON. Martha PHILLIPS to either ADKINS or ATKINS.
