Hello, New member here, just found a link to Limestone County and I have a question. I am researching the Fox and Campbell families specifically the family of John And Elizabeth Mason Campbell Fox. John died in Limestone Co in 1831. His family eventually went west to MS and points beyond. After John Fox's death Elizabeth Fox married Allen Thompson and they moved to Yalobusha Co MS. John had a brother named Benjamin. He died in Limestone County in 1826. Any others researching this family? I need to obtain a cople of deeds, wills and estate records. Is there someone who can make copies of these for me from the courthouse for a fee of course? I have the citations. TIA Cristal Simmons

Posted on: Limestone County Queries Reply Here: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Al/Limestone/467 Surname: Green, Lewis, Marsh, Mason, Hamilton, Klinger ------------------------- Frank Lewis married Minnie Green(e)ca 1895, probably in Limestone County, AL. They owned and/or operated a store in the Belle Mina Section of Limestone County until Frank's death ca 1910-1912. I need any information on Frank Lewis, i.e. burial place, ancestry, etc. Minnie Green(e) Lewis later married Thomas Marsh and moved to Morgan County and lived near the "Mason's homeplace". Frank and Minnie Green(e) Lewis had a daughter, Virginia Belle Lewis, my grandmother. My grandfather was William Harvey Hamilton who disappeared ca 1930. Frank and Minnie also had a daughter, Sara Lewis, who married Arthur Klinger and moved to Los Vagas, NV. Also they had a son, Lester Lewis, who died about age 6 years. I realize the information is sketchy, at best. ANY information would be most helpful. Will be glad to exchange research with anyone needing information from the Lincoln, Wilkes, Columbia Counties, GA or McCormick and Edgefield Counties, SC area for reseach in Limestone and Morgan Counties, AL.
