    3. I found this, David, - John Robert Wood (age 31) – Café 123. John is the owner of one of Opelika’s fine-dining restaurants in the downtown area. John has been in the restaurant and bar business for more than six years. His grandparents were also in the same industry – running one of the dining icons of Opelika’s “yesteryear” – Andy’s Restaurant. John has already become a vital “component” of this community, as he and his father have worked hard over the past several years brining in economic developers from surrounding states and showing them all that Opelika has to offer. ----------------------------------------------------------- ----- Original Message ----- From: "JCTripp" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Friday, August 19, 2011 10:24 PM Subject: Re: [ALLEE] Opelika Restaurant > Hi David, > If you live in the Lee Co area, you could celebrate with dinner at the Opelika restaurant owned by the grandson of Andy's Restaurant. > I am sending the grandson's contact information off list. The food and atmosphere was great and was a popular place for years. > > My wife and I will celebrate our 60th wedding anniversary soon and have many happy memories of "Andy's" and I am trying to find to find a photograph of the inside and/or outside of Andy's cafe! > > Any help will be most appreciated!! > > Best wishes, > David Dorsey > [email protected] > > > ------------------------------- > To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to [email protected] with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message >
